Passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at the age of 95. Frances was born in Kalamazoo on July 13, 1921, the daughter of the late Harm Dyksterhouse and Effie (Yonker) Dyksterhouse. She was a member of Second Reformed Church. She was employed as a secretary for Milwood United Methodist Church and was an active member of Bronson Methodist Hospital.
She was united in marriage to James R. Evans Sr. on January 19, 1943, who preceded her in death on May 1, 2008. Frances is survived by two sons, James R. (Lauri) Evans and David (Beverly) Evans both of North Carolina; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth (Burt) Cilley. She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Evans; and one brother and sister-in-law, Herm (Tress) Dyksterhouse.
