Mrs. Frances Brazell Talbot, age 89, of Lanett, Al., passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, at the Golden Living Center in Lanett.
Mrs. Talbot is survived by her son, Alex (Joan) Talbot of Valley; daughter, Trisha Wallace of Valley; daughter in law, Barbara Yarbrough of Opelika; six grandchildren, Stacey Carroll of Valley, Stephanie (Buddy) Glidewell of Opelika, Amy (Todd) Levens of West Point, Ga., Anna Talbot of Florence, Al., Hollie (Cody) Peacock of Valley, and Colton Smith of Valley; five great grandchildren, Katie Carroll, Jessica Carroll, Cacey Carroll, Daniel Glidewell, and Sara Glidewell; six great great grandchildren, Lauren Levens, Isaac Levens, Ethan Levens, Jordan Peacock, Luke Peacock, and Caroline Altman.
Mrs. Talbot was preceded in death by her parents Birdie and G.L. Brazell; her husband, Willard Talbot, Sr.; and her son, Gaines Yarbrough.
Mrs. Talbot was born on May 12, 1924 in Lanett and for many years was a cashier for Big Apple / Food Giant. She was a member of Plant City Baptist Church and never met a stranger. She loved crocheting, working in her garden, going to church, and gospel singings. She enjoyed being a hospital volunteer. Most of all she loved her family. She will be missed by all.
