Frances Ann Marcin, age 69 years, of Lynn, died Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Tufts Medical center in Boston. She was the daughter of Doris T. (Waldron) Marcin-Lane, and the late Edward J. Marcin. Born in Chelsea on February 7, 1951, Frances was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, class of 1969 and attended North Shore Community College. She enjoyed meditation, writing poetry, and her cats. Frances was a kind and gentle soul and was active with the Unitarian-Universalist Church of Greater Lynn, in Swampscott. Frances was an enthusiastic fan of Star Trek and loved to say “Beam me up Scottie!”Besides her mother Doris of Lansfield, PA, she is survived by her daughter Jody Feeney Parsons, and her siblings, Edward Marcin of Washington, John Marcin of Wakefield, Donna Eby of Carver, Valerie Ashton of LaFayette Hill, PA and Linda Quigley of New Hampshire.
