Frances A. Gomez, 72 of Littleton; Frances is survived by husband, Ernest Gomez and 3 children; son – Ernie Gomez, daughter – Terri Duran (Ray), son – Gary Gomez (Barbara). She had 4 grandchildren – Ray Duran, Robert Duran, Adam Gomez and Nicholas Gomez and 4 great-grandchildren; Adeline Duran, Sasha Duran, Elijah Solano and Lucius Solano and her only brother – Charles L. Garcia. She is preceded in death by her mother Felicita Garcia.
Mom rarely used her proper name, Frances. Everyone knew her as Ann. She grew up in Trujillo Creek just up the hill from Aguilar in southern Colorado. She met our father in school. They were high school sweethearts. She married at a young age of 16. This last August they celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary. She received her cosmetology license in her early 20’s and worked odd jobs before she landed her job with Safeway.
Mom loved her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother and sister and all around great person. She will be extremely missed. We love you Mom. God bless you.
