Foy B. Sorrells, 77, of Hogansville, died on January 5, 2012 at his home. He was born in Hartford, AL to the late Obie Lee Sorrells and Pauline Reeves Sorrells. He and his wife owned and operated C&F Food Store in Forest Park for 30 years. He was baptized a Jehovah’s Witness and became part of the Franklin Kingdom Hall in 2004. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Roy Lee Sorrells, James Sorrells, and sister, Jean Yeomans.
He is survived by wife, Carolyn Taylor Sorrells, of Hogansville; son, David Sorrells and his wife Anne, Inwood, WV; daughters, Connie Fletcher, of Woodbridge, VA, Sharon Regan, of Woodbridge, VA, Tammy Helton and her husband Doug, of Franklin, Kim Parker and her husband Berod, of Atlanta; sisters, Sarah Howell, of Hartford, AL, Nellie Howell, of Hartford, AL, Edna Hamm and her husband George, of Panama City, FL; brother, Edward Sorrells, and his wife Diane, of Ozark, AL; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
