Foster Simon Hess 80, formerly of Bretz passed away Monday July 12, 2010 at Hopemont Hospital in Terra Alta.
He was born June 19, 1930 in Cascade a son of the late Ben and Bessie (Knisell) Hess.
Foster was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, he especially enjoyed playing music with his brother.
He is survived by his wife of forty-five years Shirley “Sis” (Smith) Hess of Bretz; three sons Foster Hess, Jr. of Bretz, Darrin Hess of Albright, and Bradley Hess and spouse Sara of Independence; two grandsons Joseph Streets and Olen Levi Hess; and one brother Robert “Bert” Hess and spouse Doloris of Bretz.
