Forrest McNess Moore, 89, of Centennial, Colorado, passed away June 18, 2019. Forrest was born soon after his identical twin brother, Furst, on November 23, 1929 in Harlingen, Texas to Sterling and Della Mae Hamilton Moore.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his twin, Furst; brothers, Cecil “Tex” and John; and his sister, Stella Morris.
Forrest is survived by his beloved wife, Shirley “Shyrl” Wingerter Moore; their children, Della Corcoran (husband, Patrick); Deanne Moore; Dayna White (husband Brian); and Brian Moore (wife, Paola Moore-Pagano); grandchildren, Forrest, Thomas, Victoria, Jason, Isaac, Henry, Lydia, Margreta “Greta” and Jared; siblings, Glenna Felz, Roy Moore, Doris MacDaniel, Irene LaGarde and William “Max” Moore; as well as too many nieces and nephews to count. Forrest also has many friends near and far, having lived all over, including Venezuela, Texas, Wyoming, Alaska and Colorado.
Forrest also lived in Korea when he served in the US Army during the Korean War.
His big heart, sense of humor and zeal for an active adventurous life will be missed by all whose lives he touched.
