Those left to honor Forrest’s memory are his wife, Adra of Newton; daughter, Cindy (and Ralph) Raggio of Marshalltown, Iowa; his 2 grandchildren, Aaron Taylor and Nicole (and John) Ratcliff; 4 great-grandchildren, Dahlia, Andrew, Zach, and Gracie; his brother, George (and Beverly) Clymer of David City, Nebraska; and 3 sisters, Ilene Taylor of David City, Nebraska, Fern Furrer of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Betty Reed of Littleton, Colorado.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Clara (Haviland) Clymer; a daughter in infancy; and 2 sisters.
Forrest was a graduate of David City High School in 1934. He moved to Jasper County, Iowa in 1939. Forrest served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a lifelong farmer.
He was a member of the Farm Bureau of Jasper County, a 50 year member of the Sugar Grove Grange, and a RSVP volunteer. Forrest enjoyed camping with friends and playing softball and later baseball witht the Metz and Monroe teams.
