Forest “Frosty” L. Warnes age 87 of Ashland, passed away Monday July 12, 2021 at his residence.
Born in Ashland on July 3, 1934 the son of Rolla M. and Opal (Brockway) Warnes he was a Ashland resident all of his life.
Mr. Warnes had been a 38 year employee of the Faultless Rubber Company and he retired in 1991. He had also been a former member of the Ashland Eagles, Ashland AmVets, Ashland VFW and the Moose Lodge.
On July 2, 1954, Forest married June L. Jones who survives.
Also surviving is one daughter and son in law, Susan (James) Doerfler of Ashland; three grandchildren, Angie Cragel of Marblehead Ohio, Jeffery Patterson of Bellville Ohio and Shannon Gallagher of Ashland. One great grandson also survives, Lucas Cragel of Ashland.
Also surviving are two brothers, Harold Warnes of Ashland and Duane Warnes of Ashland.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two daughters; Kimberly Ann Warnes in 1970 and Joan Gallagher in 2018.
