Floyd Wayne “Country” Carr, 52, of Franklin, died on Wednesday, March 1, 2017, in Franklin. He was born on August 20, 1964, in Plainfield, IN. to his parents, Floyd Thomas Carr and Helen (Ivey) Smith.
He was a self-employed contractor for over 10 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, ginseng hunting, riding motorcycles, and being with his friends and family.
Floyd is survived by his wife, Marla (Wilson) Carr of Franklin, his children, Kristy (Aaron Campos) Sinclair, Wayne (Linda Dixon) Sinclair both of Shelbyville, step-sons, Brian Huffman of Franklin, and Jarrod (Michelle) Huffman of Paragon, a sister Kimberly Mullins of Liberty, a half-sister, Lottie (Jerry) Redd of Shelbyville, and a step-sister, Cindy (Ed) Massey of Florida, two brothers, David (Nancy) Carr of Indianapolis and Willie Carr of Bluefied, Virginia, two half-brothers, Otho (Michelle) Smith of Shelbyville, and Chris Ammons of Arkansas two step-brothers, Steve Smith of Noblesville, and Billy Smith of Speedway, two half-brothers, Otho (Michelle) Smith of Shelbyville, and Chris Ammons of Arkansas, and and ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his step-brother, Thomas Carr
