     Floyd Sherman Keith, 94, a retiree of Warner Gear, went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at his residence in Muncie. He was born October 31, 1916, in Calhorn, Kentucky, the son of Dan and Julia Clark Keith.

     He served in the Army during World War II. He fought in three battles, including the  Battle of the Bulge, from which he received three Battle Stars and the Bronze Star.

     Mr. Keith was employed at Warner Gear for thirty-five years prior to his retirement.

     Surviving are his wife, of sixty-seven years, Addie Ruth (Ball) Keith, whom he married November 29, 1943; two sons, William Dan Keith (wife, Sarah Ann), Selma, and Larry Scott Keith, (wife, Rise ), Muncie; his daughter, Julia Lynn Phillips, Stearns, Kentucky; ten grandchildren, Larry Keith, (wife, Ashley), Mark Keith, (wife, Kara), Bradley Keith, (fiance, Amanda), Echoe Howard, (husband, Lucas), Ellen Bowden, Jeffrey Keith, Carrie Lynn Emmons, (husband, Jason), Matthew Phillips, (fiance, Tonya), Illa Ruth Keith and Gary Keith; eight great-grandchildren, Hallie, Kalie, Ashlynn, Macie, Bowen, Raef, Sidney and Logan; a special brother-in-law, Leonard Ball; and several nieces and nephews.

     He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Gary Estes Keith; his son-in-law, Carlos Phillips; four brothers, Jim Keith, Josh Keith, Oscar Keith and Rexie Keith;

and two sisters, Elizabeth Dick and Cindy Lee Ann Tucker.
