Floyd P. White, 80, of Alamogordo, passed away, Sunday, April 1, 2007 at his home.
Mr. White was born July 26, 1926 in Sibley, Iowa to Owen P. and Grace LaVanche (Wallace) White. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He retired from the U.S.D.A. as a Federal Meat Inspector.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Ann White, his parents, one brother and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis White of the family home; one son, Gary Patrick White, one granddaughter, Rosemary Ann White, all of Alamogordo; two grandsons, William Patrick White and family of Stockton, CA and James Michael White, of Mesa, AZ; three stepsons; three stepdaughters; two brothers, James J. White and family of Napa, CA and A. M. “Mike” White and family of Alamogordo; two sisters, Patricia Thomas and family of Napa, CA and Mary Ann Morris of Texas; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
