Floyd Reeder Lisby, age 85, of Birmingham, AL passed away on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2013. Reeder was a WWII Navy veteran. He was a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church in Birmingham. He retired from Birmingham News after nearly 40 years of service as a pressman. He was preceded in death by his parents; his former wives, Ened Springer Lisby and Maggie Stanley Lisby. Reeder is survived by his wife, Mitzi Lisby; daughters, Beth Lisby Smith (Phillip) and Susan Teasley Jones (Paul); sons, Mark Stephen Lisby (Lynn) and Jeffery Alan Lisby; four grandchildren: Tara Lisby Harris (Paul), Stephanie Holmes Fuqua, Jennifer Holmes and Andie McMichael Miles (Nathan); eight great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
