Floyd L. “Tuffy” Markle, 83, of Linton passed away Friday, May 25th, 2007 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. Born August 15, 1923, in Greene County, Indiana, he was the son of Floyd C. and Katie Hazel (Green) Markle. He married Shirley A. Asdell on April 12, 1941.
Survivors include two daughters – Sherry (Isaac) House of Linton, Indiana, and Connie Shonk of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; three sons – Stephen (Marsha) Markle of Bedford, Indiana, David (Judy) Markle of Noblesville, Indiana, and Bradley (Lori) Markle of Linton, Indiana. One sister – Rosalee Moore of Indianapolis, Indiana, also survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Shirley Markle.
