Floyd Keith Wright, 67, of New Carlisle, passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Northwest Health LaPorte Hospital, LaPorte, IN. He was born in Akron, Ohio on November 25, 1954, to the late Floyd Eric and Betty J. (Haverly) Wright. He was also preceded in death by a son, Chad McCollum and a brother, Tom Wright of Florida. Floyd is survived by his daughter, Teresa (Terry) McDonald of Indianapolis, IN, his son, Thomas Wright of Hudson Lake, IN, his loving wife, Karol Wright, a brother, Richard (Paula) Wright of LaPorte, IN and a favorite cousin, Becky Pearson. Mr. Wright worked as an electrician for the State of Indiana for over 10 years, before retiring in 2010. Floyd raised a wonderful family while spending his free time repairing and fixing old cars and boats – and even restored a farmhouse. He enjoyed retirement with his family in Hudson Lake, Indiana.
