Floyd Edward Skirvin, Jr., 58, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away at his residence on Monday, June 14, 2021.
Floyd was born on September 24, 1962 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Floyd Edward Skirvin, Sr. and Patricia Sue (Orbaugh) Stafford.
Floyd was self-employed and worked HVAC for 30 years until his retirement in 2015. He was a creative, scientific thinker and theorist, he had a knack for creating things and sharing his ideas. He enjoyed playing the guitar and loved Ancient Aliens, history, and motorcycles. He was the proudest Pop Pop and left an everlasting impression to his grandchildren.
Floyd is survived by his four children, Zachary Skirvin, Tasha Skirvin, both of Wisconsin, Michal (Tim) Jones of Whiteland, IN, and Caleb Skirvin of Indianapolis, IN; his six grandchildren, Ariana, Mason, Axton, Lily, Lachlan, and Kalis; his three siblings, Debbie Fisher of Losantville, IN, Mike Skirvin and Nan (David) Arroyo, both of Elkhart, IN. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Greatest supporter and niece, Kimmy Sue.
Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Sr. and Patricia; four brothers, Tim, Terry, Bobby, and David Skirvin; his sister, Brenda; his aunt, Kate, and uncle, Bob.
