Mr. Floyd A Chavers a native of Escambia County and a long time resident of Semmes, AL passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 20, 2015. Mr. Chavers was a Veteran of WWII in the United States Army. He was retired from Scott Paper Company after 36 years of service. He is preceded in death by his father Ancil Chavers and his mother Ruby Taylor Chavers. He is survived in death by his precious wife of 68 years Agatha Copeland Chavers. He is also survived by his sons Arthur Chavers (Sherron Chavers) and Michael “Bubbie” Chavers. Also, his 3 grandchildren Stacy Beesley, Brandi Jones (Todd Jones), Joshua Chavers (Brittany Chavers). Also, 5 great grandchildren Braxton Baker, Isabella Jones, Brock Jones, Colton Beesley, Uriah Chavers. Services were held at Valhalla Cemetery and performed by Rev. Virgil Stone and Tim Stewart.
