Hagerstown, MD- Floyd Bender Shrader-87 of Hagerstown, MD passed away on Thursday November 6, 2014 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV.
Born August 2, 1927 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Gail Marie Yeats.
Floyd served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII. He was the owner and operator of Home Oil Company on Virginia Ave. in Williamsport, MD for 53 years.
He was of the Brethren faith.
He was a member of Morris Frock post#42 American Legion Hagerstown, MD.
Floyd is survived by a daughter Tamara L. Watson of Martinsburg, WV, two sons Aaron L. Shrader, Sr. and his wife Pam of Hagerstown and Matthew L. Shrader and his wife Nicole of Clear Spring, MD and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a grandson Aaron L. Shrader, Jr. two brothers Orville C. Hays, Sr. and George P. Hays, Jr. and a sister Anna Burger.
