With Florette’s novel entitled “Ask Florette” The pages of this book began for Florette L. Hudson Parker on December 6, 1921 to the union of John and Nora Hudson in Coffeeville, Mississippi the oldest of eleven children. Florette married A. D. Parker and after his death she moved to Benton Harbor, Michigan. She resided in Benton Harbor until, 1984. Florette worked at Michigan Fruit Cannery as a lab technician in quality control.
