Florene Griffin, age 92, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Monday, September 24, 2018. She was a member of Crosspointe Christian Center and faithfully taught the Women’s Sunday school class for many years. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Barney Edmondson, Ernest Shoemaker Harlen Griffin; parents, W. D. and Pincie Galloway; brother, Riley Galloway; and a sister, Estelle Martin. She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Larry and Melissa Edmondson of Sardis, MI; daughters and son in law, Kay and Keely Hasty of Dalton, Denise Welch of Dalton; brother and sister in law, Ray and Gladys Galloway of Rainsville, AL; sister, Myrtle Williams of Scottsboro, AL; 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
