Florence V. (McMahon) Byrne, 87, of Center Valley, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family on Monday March 1, 2021. She was the loving wife of the late Richard J. Byrne. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late James and Florence (Stanley) McMahon. Florence known to her family as Toots, was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, friend and neighbor who was always available any time of day or night (unless she was on a cruise!). Flo was an avid bridge player, traveler, knitter and loved to sew. She was a creative artist and created in many mediums. Flo enjoyed cruising around the world with her husband and in later years with her daughters. She was a graduate of the Jersey City Medical Center School of Nursing and spent many years working with Ursula Hoffman, MD in Center Valley.
Survivors: She will be lovingly remembered by her children Richard Byrne and wife Sharon of Wilmington, NC, Donna Conley of Gainesville, FL, Mary Rockel and husband William of Center Valley, John Byrne of Center Valley, Timothy Byrne of Center Valley and Kathleen Alpart and husband Bruce of Orlando, FL; brothers James McMahon and wife Roberta of Mesquite, NV and William McMahon of Howell, NJ; 14 grandchildren; 8 loving great grandchildren as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and wonderful bridge partners.
