Florence Schratz Nuce Keaton, 89, Seminole, Florida died July 25, 2005 at her residence. She was born April 2, 1916 in Pocahontas, Arkansas, and resided in Seminole, Florida.

She lived in Anderson for 65 years. She was a homemaker, raised five children and lived her life for God and his church. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church in Seminole, Florida and Saint Mary’s Church in Anderson.

She was one of the founding members, helping to build St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Anderson. She was the President of the Altar Rosary Society, an officer of the Daughters of Isabella, and even dressed as a clown to visit Nursing Homes.

She offered her life to her family, her church, and many volunteer projects. She will be remembered always as a loving mother and grandmother, for her love of family, God and church.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law: Nancy Nuce of Anderson. Children: Ron & wife Betty Nuce of Loogootee, Amy & husband Dick Stow of Seminole, Florida, Jim & wife Karen Nuce of Lawrenceville, Georgia, and Fran & husband Larry Gellinger of Seminole, Florida. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her 1st husband of 34 years: Herman P. Nuce. 2nd husband of 10 years: Earl Y.J. Keaton. Son: Raymond H. Nuce.
