After 98 years, God called Florence Mildred See Lindley back to his kingdom on June 13, 2019. Mildred went to be with her loving husband, Albert, who passed away 25 years ago.
Florence was born on January 1, 1921, to Grace Elliot and William Oscar See in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She grew up in Ririe and Rigby, Idaho and attended school there.
In 1939, she married Albert Lee Lindley from Macon, Missouri. They were married in Idaho Falls and spent their married life on a dry farm above Ririe and on various valley farms in Ririe, Ammon, New Sweden, Firth, and Idaho Falls. They retired from farming in 1991.
Mildred worked many years as a sales consultant in ladies bridal and ready to wear clothing. Her greatest love was designing and sewing doll fashions. She sewed the tiny dresses for 75 years. Her latest doll show was only months before she passed away.
After her husband Albert’s death, she moved to Boise, Idaho to be with her son John and family. She lived there until her passing.
She is survived by one son, Albert Johnny and his wife, Merna, six grandchildren, Michelle Lindley George, Johnny Albert Lindley, Sandra Lindley, Tamra Lindley Taylor, Spencer Jerry Lindley, and R.J. Lindley, fourteen great grandchildren, and fifteen great great grandchildren. Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, Albert; parents, Oscar & Grace See; and sister, Carrie Loveland.
