Florence M. Stein of Centralia, IL died Monday, December 22, 2008 at St. Mary’s/Good Samaritan Hospital in Centralia at the age of 85 years.
Florence was born in Hoffman, IL on February 20, 1923 the daughter of Martin and Amelia (Husmann) Holle. She married Richard W. Stein in Texas on August 22, 1942 and he preceded her in death on October 19, 1978.
Mrs. Stein is survived by a daughter: Susan Urban and husband Larry of St. Peter, IL; a sister: Lucille Knolhoff and husband Norman of Centralia; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter: Debra Tyberendt; grandson: Troy tyberendt; and brother: Milton Holle.
Florence was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Centralia and the Trinity Lutheran Church Ladies Guild. She enjoyed spending time with and watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren playing sports.
