Florence M. (Cyrulik) Bloch, 93, of Middletown, passed away, July 4, 2022 peacefully at her home. She was the beloved wife of the late Stanley Bloch. Born in Hartford, daughter of the late Joseph and Carolina (Ostrowski) Cyrulik, she was a former Newington resident before relocating to Middletown to reside with her son Lary. Florence was a full-time caregiver to her children, then went on to be employed as a cafeteria worker until her youngest son graduated. Later, she retired from CT Mutual after many years of employment. In her retirement, she loved traveling, especially bus trips and playing bingo. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she leaves her three sons, Lary Bloch and Mary Stearns, with whom she made her home, Robert Bloch of Wethersfield, and William Bloch and his wife Laura of East Hartford, her grandchildren, Cameron Stearns-Bloch, Chelsea Pryce, Rachael Bloch, Caeley Bloch, Jeffrey Lewis and his wife Laura and T.J. Lewis, and 3 great grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Jean Paradis and Betty Powlishen, and her significant other Edward Dobbs.
