Florence was born on October 6, 1928 in Costa Mesa, California the daughter of Leo Daniels and Martha (Wendt) Daniels. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Morgan’s Point and a member of the 6522 VFW post in Bellville, Texas. Florence loved God and her Country and was a friend to many.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Larry Knox in 2016.
Survivors include a son, James Meissner and wife Brenda; two daughters, Janice Simmons and husband Terry and Joan Mantey and husband Fred; seven grandchildren, Jarrad Meissner, Jamie Ferrel, Jason Mantey, Steven Mantey, Amy Porter, Jessica Davis and Kenneth Davis and ten great grandchildren, Kannon Meissner, Keegan Messner, Korbyn Meissner, Bryan Bales, Audrey Bales, Sam Porter, Nicky Porter, Isiah Fuentes, Bubba Fuentes and Eli Ferrel.
