On October 1, 2021, Florence Elizabeth Hay Whitehead, 91, received her wings and had to go on to her final journey.

Florence was born April 15, 1930, in Menan, Idaho, to Harry Hay and Elizabeth Ann Wright Hay. She grew up and attended schools in Brigham City, Utah, and Menan and Rigby, Idaho, and moved to Idaho Falls in 1944.

In 1946, she married Harold Woolf. They had one daughter, Marsha. In 1949, she married Veron Monson. They had two daughters, Brenda and Cheryl. In 1974, she married Harvey Whitehead. They later moved to Ririe, Idaho. In 1998, Harvey left to go on his last journey. Florence returned to Idaho Falls in 1999, where she resided until her passing.

Florence loved crafting, especially crocheting. She loved her family and enjoyed fishing and camping with them in Montana.

Florence  is survived by her loving daughters, Brenda Lee (Richard) Jimenez of Idaho Falls, ID, Cheryl Ann Wagoner of Idaho Falls, ID, and Marsha Goodrich of Layton, UT; stepson, Robert Kent Whitehead of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Rosalie (Ivan) Byington of Idaho Falls, ID; 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 15 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, parents, sisters, Agnes Ball and Betty Hay, brothers, Don Zane Hay and Harry Hay, grandson, Brian Scott Mitchell, and step-daughter, Jackie Whitehead. Her great great grandson, DeOrr Kunz, is still missing.
