Departed this life peacefully on Thursday, August 20, 2015 at her residence. She is survived by her daughter Karen Woodson (Floyd); One Son James Hodge Jr.; One Step-Son Kenneth Hodge (Gail); 22 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren. She is also leaves One Sister Alma Harris (Edward); One Brother John Chase, and Daughter in law Renage Braxton and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceeded in death by her husband James Hodge Sr., parents William and Gladys Powell Chase Sr. A Brother William Jr., Sisters Gladys Torsel Mapp, Pearl J. Hughes and Veatrice C. Parr. Her Children Raymond T. Braxton Jr., Florence E. Battles, Barbara A. Davis, and Shirley Vaden.
