Florence E. Beehr, age 93 of Midland, passed away Tuesday evening June 13, 2017, at Stratford Pines of Midland.
The daughter of the late Robert P. and Ann Faye (Thompson) Ward was born in Midland on September 5, 1923, where she was raised and educated graduating from Midland High School in 1942. On August 9, 1943, Florence married Howard G.
Beehr and after 56 years of marriage he died on June 5, 1999. She was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church, Midland King’s Daughters, and the Order of Eastern Star. Florence had worked at many retail stores in the Midland area.
She enjoyed listening to the music of Nate King Cole, Glenn Miller, and was an avid dog lover.
Surviving is her sons, Richard (Phyllis) Beehr, Dwight Beehr, and Thomas Beehr all of Midland; daughter-in-law, Marjorie Beehr; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Florence was preceded in death by her son, Howard Beehr, Jr., brother, and sister-in-law, Robert and Helen Ward.
