Florence Clara Simpson, 98 of Suffolk, VA passed away May 3, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Hugh and Lottie Callahan. She is also predeceased by her husbands, Maylon Z. Simpson, and Daniel Creelman, Sr; son, Jerry Simpson; sisters, Esma Hill, and Nelda Connell; and brother, James Callahan. Florence worked as an office administrator for Suffolk Radiology Associates and Family Medicine, and Louise Obici Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Holy Neck Christian Church, as well as the Order of the Eastern Star of Virginia Beach. She loved doing embroidery, making arts and crafts, and tending to her flower beds.Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Elaine Jackson of Suffolk; son, Ronnie K. Simpson of Navarre, FL; stepson, Mark Creelman of Chesapeake; special care giver, Mark Ashley; grandchildren, Wes Jackson, Jill Jackson Craig, Tabitha Wilson, Adrienne Taylor, Zachary Simpson, and Wesley Alexander; 6 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and special friends, Patsy Lewis, Evelyn Worrell, Arlene Carson, and Shirley Rountree.
