Mrs. Flora Maxine Franklin James, 85, died Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital North MS..M.. Buster Wilson officiating…M. until 7:00 P.M.. A lifelong resident of Lafayette County, Mrs. James was the widow of Mr. Bonnie Lee James and a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. She retired from the Lafayette County School district, where she was the beloved cafeteria manager, and continued working with children as a foster grandparent with North MS Regional Center and Lafayette Elementary School. She was a proud mother, grandmother and great grandmother and welcomed any opportunity to have everyone together for family meals.
