Flor Benavides, 90, of Boca Raton, FL passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022. She is survived by her loving children; Jacqueline Restrepo, Franco Restrepo, Wilson Restrepo, Alma Restrepo, Flor Diamante, Octavio Restrepo, Cecilia Botero, Cielo Baldwin, Hector Restrepo, 31 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Flor was predeceased by 3 children; Salomon Diamante, Jorge Diamante, Isabel Diamante, and the love of her life, her husband Octavio Restrepo. She was an amazing person, who everyone loved and admired with the most generous heart. She was a woman ahead of her time, a matriarch, for whom family was top priority. She enjoyed many things, including traveling to different places, shopping, dancing and cooking. She enjoyed sweets and always looked for the opportunity to sneak one. She was a nurse/midwife who helped deliver many babies during her working years. She liked to help everyone, especially the poor. She will always be remembered for her kindness, honesty, love of family and her incomparable endurance before the many hardships life presented to her.
