Flavis “Jay” Martin III, 43, passed away suddenly, Tuesday, February 28, 2012 at United Hospital Center. He was born July 9, 1968 in Clarksburg the son of the late Flavis Martin, Jr. and Nancy O’Dell Martin. He is survived by his wife Lisa Deem Martin whom he married August 9, 2010. In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter; Ashley Martin of Clarksburg; three sons; Alexander Martin of Clarksburg, Christopher Martin of Pine Bluff and Jay Jr. Allen Martin at home; one sister Carol Stanley and husband Sherman of Swisher Hill; one brother; Bobby Joe Martin of Shinnston; two nephews; Sherman Stanley and Tyler Martin; three nieces; Taylor Martin, Emily Martin and Halee Martin; two grandsons; Eric Mason Reese and Nathan Martin; thee step-daughters; Cerenity Deem, Judy Deem and Tabatha Campbell. He loved to race stock cars and derby cars, and loved to work on them. He was also an avid hunter and fisherman.
