Fidel Sanchez, 84, of Azusa, CA. , passed away Thursday February 13,2014.
He was born to the late Macedonio and Maria Sanchez, April 6, 1929, in Sierra Madre, CA. Fidel graduated from Cathedral High School in 1938 and attended Pasadena City College. He married the late Martha Sanchez in 1956, and they lived together in Azusa, CA.,
Fidel was an employee for Coca- Cola Bottling Company until he retired in 1991 and was passionate about helping others. His passion was boxing where he received the golden glove achievement for no loses in 1950. He served his country during the Korean War and was a life time member of the VFW post 8070.
Fidel is proceeded by his wife Martha and son David and survived by five children: Anthony, Diane, Johnny, Jimmy and Henry Sanchez, of Azusa, CA. He was also survived by 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
