Fidel O. Velez, 27, of Greensburg, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014 in Greensburg.
He was born in Ft. Rucker, Alabama on April 9, 1986 and was the son of Fidel E. Velez and Maria Teresa Santiago.
Fidel knew the Lord and accepted His salvation. Fidel loved many things, but especially learning, animals, and gaming. He was a kind soul who was always there for anyone who needed him, while bravely putting aside the pain from his illness.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sisters, Miriam Mealy, Kristal Velez, and Jessica Pacelli; paternal grandfather Fidel E. Velez and maternal grandfather Regino Santiago; a niece, Natalia Mealy; his father’s fiancAC.e, Amy Penn; and his loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Services will be officiated by Rev. Dr. Renny Domske at the First Christian Church, 134 Mathews St., Greensburg, on Friday, January 24 at 2 PM.
