Ferrin B. Pomeroy Ferrin B. Pomeroy, 56 of Iuka, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Saint Louis University Hospital. He was born March 1, 1961 in Okawville, son of Martin Pomeroy and Loretta (Klasing) Pomeroy. He married Heidi Foraker on August 26, 1988 and she survives in Iuka.
In addition to his wife of 28 years, he is also survived by five children: Joseph and fiance Erika of Iuka, Matthew and fiance Andrea of Alma, Timothy and fiancé Taylor of Carlyle, Wendi and fiancé Jason of Walnut Hill, and Aaron and wife Casey of Kinmundy; 15 grandchildren: Rue, Caden, Gavin, Jayce, Abrahm, Karissa, Rayna, Ava, Gunner, Grayson, Gaige, Emberlyn, Aurora, Jace, and Jonah; a brother, Bruce Pomeroy and wife Darla of Okawville; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a father-in-law, Jack Foraker, Sr. Ferrin worked at SSM St. Mary Hospital in Centralia as an X-Ray Tech for 35 years. He was a member of the Iuka United Methodist Church in Iuka. He enjoyed video games, basketball, and baseball. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family, grand-kids, friends and his four legged companion, Zeppo.
