Ferne Diane Gallant, 55, of Milford, departed this life on Friday, January 26, 2007 at Milford Hospital. Diane was born on October 23, 1951, daughter of the late Florence Hebert and Ferne Challen Ellis. Her greatest miracle was her children. She leaves her son, Don Gallant, and her daughter, Rosie Gallant and her fiancé Adam Golka. She will be infinitely missed by her sister, Flora Ellis, and three brothers: M.G. Ellis, Kevin Ellis and his wife Karen, Mark Ellis and his wife Jeanette. She was loved by her nieces, nephews, and friends. She is predeceased by her brother Steve Ellis. Diane was an incredible mother, devoted sister, aunt, and friend. She had a powerful spirit, a deep love for nature, and always a kind smile. She was a courageous adventurer who found her way by the simple things in life; the birds, the beach, and a simple card from a friend. Her story will live on through all who knew her.
