Fern Harper, 95, of Cassopolis, died Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Cass County Medical Care Facility, Cassopolis.
She was born January 31, 1916 in Granger, Indiana to Charles and MaeBelle (Head) Arbogast. In addition to her parents, Fern was preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Stover in 2007; two sisters, Ruth Beckett and Harriet Flanders; and two brothers, Wayne Arbogast and Marvin Arbogast.
She was a homemaker, a former leader of the Busy Maidens and a 4-H leader. She attended Mason Baptist Church.
Fern is survived by her son in law, Carl Stover of Cassopolis; three grandchildren, James (Rhonda) Stover of Cassopolis, Carla (Rick) Hendershott of Elkhart, and Janelle (Tim) Janowczyk of Granger; three great grandchildren, Clayton “C. J.” Stover, Ryan Stover and Julia Janowczyk.
