Fern Yandell of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, August 10, 2018 in Waldron, Arkansas surrounded by her loving family. Fern was 86 years old. She was born August 29, 1931 in Parks, Arkansas to Jess and Mary Isom. Fern was a longtime member of Waldron Assembly of God Church in Waldron, Arkansas. She was a Godly woman and unwavering in her faith. She loved the Lord and led her family by example.

At the young age of 18 Fern married the love of her life, M.C. Yandell. Together they raised a family of four children and a house full of grands. All of whom they taught to love, laugh and cherish each other. Fern was a loving woman and she was an excellent cook. She was never afraid to tell you how she felt and she was notorious for her one of a kind “one liners”, she always said she would “fight a circle saw for her kids and grandchildren”. If Fern told you something, you could take it to the bank because she meant it. Fern leaves a legacy of love for family and friends to never be forgotten.

Fern leaves behind to cherish her memory her children: Harold and wife Tharon of Hamburg, Arkansas, David and wife Sherrie of Waldron, Arkansas, Jeanetta Hauck and husband Gerard of Krebs, Oklahoma and Mike and wife Lisa of Waldron, Arkansas. “Ma” will forever remain in the hearts of her grandchildren:Bruce Yandell, Angela Ward, Trent Yandell, Kayla Cottrell, Summer Miller, Chase Easley, Sierra Waddle, Jessilyn Roper and Ethan Yandell as well as 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Fern will be missed by all that knew her and the many whose lives she impacted including a host of extended family, friends, neighbors and brothers and sisters in Christ.

Fern is preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, M.C. Yandell, one son in law, Glenn Fox Easley, one sister and three brothers.
