Fern D. Kephart, 86, of Fountain Hill, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011, in Green Meadows of Allentown. She was the wife of the late Doyle M. Kephart, who died on 1/28/93. Born in Northampton, she was the daughter of the late Laury and Maisey (Dilliard) Peters. Fern was a homemaker. She was a member of Christ Church UCC in Bethlehem, where she belonged to the card club, and was also a member of the former Fountain Hill Beneficial Society, where she was a avid bowler. Fern lover her family, friends and wildlife. She was know as a second mother, to all the neighborhood children. Survivors: she will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Susan Dillard and her husband Webb of Coco, FL; sons Richard and his wife Mary Lou of Bethlehem and Matthew and his wife Pamm of Fountain Hill; sister Ann Widrick of Palmer; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, with one on the way.
