Ferdinand J. Buchholz, 76, passed away September 16, 2013 in Florence, Colorado. He was born in Denver, Colorado on September 26, 1936 to Ferdinand and Marie (Rau) Buchholz Sr. Ferdinand was employed as a truck driver for Hadley Auto Transport. He enjoyed working with wood, gardening and growing roses and was a lifetime member of the American Legion. Ferdinand was a good husband and father and will be missed by all that knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife; Judith (Coble) Buchholz; four children, Mathew Buchholz, Karina Lantzy, Damian Buchholz and Linnea Rule; siblings, Helen Ahern, Gerald Buchholz, Richard Buchholz and Regina Eckhardt; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by siblings, Inez Breeden and Patricia Plemons.
