Felix Salazar, October 7, 1921 – April 19, 2012.
Felix Salazar, 90, of Belton. Mr. Salazar died Thursday April 19, 2012 in a Temple hospital. Mr. Salazar was born October 7, 1921 in Runge in Karnes County, Texas the son of Pablo Salazar and Juanita Vargas Salazar. He served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He worked for many years for Fred Bandas Construction. He was a member of the First Mexican Baptist Church in Belton.
Mr. Salazar was preceded in death by a daughter Ofelia Cruz. Survivors include one son Jimmy Salazar of Belton, two daughters Linda Salazar Sancen of San Antonio and Sally Santos of Waco. One brother Modlain Minor of White Hall and two sisters Mary Granja of Austin and Oralia Luna of Belton. Many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also many nieces and nephews including Julia Arriaga of Belton.
