Felix P. Kwiatkowski (Phil), 91, died peacefully on November 17, 2020.
Felix was predeceased by his sisters Irene Barry, Lillian Rozga, Frieda Schwab and Gertrude Shifflet. Felix is survived by Ellen, his wife of 64 years, his son Paul Kwiatkowski and daughter-in-law Claire, his daughters Marie Kwiatkowski, Sandra Kwiatkowski-Dattoli, Jane Kwiatkowski and Margaret Moors and son-in-law Jan Moors.
He is survived by 12 grandchildren; Sarah, Amanda, Emma, Danielle, Dan, Mitchell, Kyra, Dominique, Josephine, Petronella, Lukas and Christopher Felix and one great grandchild, Leonardo.
Felix met Ellen, the love of his life, on a blind date on Valentine’s Day. Felix always wanted what was best for his family. Besides putting family first, Felix was a leader, an estimator and owner of Kay Construction Co. He had a mind for numbers, engineering and construction. Felix loved dogs and enjoyed fishing, studying history, car facts and the stock market.
You could ask him about any car or truck, and he’d give you the lowdown, specifically the engine statistics, where to buy it and for how much, but first he would ask you what color car you liked. He was proud of his Polish heritage. Felix was a Korean War veteran, a lifelong parishioner of St. Clare’s Catholic Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
