Felix M. “Phil” Rogers, 78, of Forestville, widower of Marian (Szala) Rogers, died Thursday, December 20, 2007, at Bristol Hospital with his loving family around him. Felix was born June 22, 1929, in Forestville, a son of the late George and Mary (Pierowski) Rogers.

A lifelong resident of Forestville, Phil was Vice President and co-owner of the former Forestville Pharmacy for 20 years until his retirement in 1990. He served as a US Army Sgt. during the Korean War. He was a member of the Bristol Elks Lodge #1010, the VFW, the Bristol Polish Citizens Club, and the St. Joseph Polish Society.

He is survived by two sons, Gary Rogers, and Dennis Rogers, both of Bristol, a daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Fred Ibitz of Forestville, a brother, Anthony Rogers of Marlborough, three grandchildren, who brought a lot of joy to him, Meredith Rogers, and his two buddies, Steven Rogers and Nicholas Ibitz, a special friend, Alice Kavel of Bristol, and many nieces and nephews. Besides his wife, he was predeceased by a sister, Helen Rogers.
