Felix John “Phil” Konopka, Jr. age, 61, of Onsted, MI, passed away April 11, 2016, at home with his family by his side. He was born May 17, 1954, in Detroit, MI, the son of Felix John, Sr. & Ida Mae (Dalecke) Konopka. On May 19, 1979, he married his loving wife, Kim Mary Reska, she preceded him in death in on October 27, 1989. Phil retired from General Motors in 2009 after 30 years of service. Following his retirement he enjoyed working as a hobby at Town & Country Harley Davidson. He loved spending time with his children, hanging out, having family dinners and riding his Harley every chance he could get.He is survived by his children, Sara (Jerod) Pitock and Felix “PJ” (Katie) Konopka III, grandson, Brayden Felix Konopka, his father, Felix Konopka, Sr., his siblings, Yvonne Sinclair, Anthony (Cynthia) Konopka and Louise (Steve) Tharp as well as several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his wife Kim Mary Konopka, his sister, Darlene Mary Konopka and his mother, Ida Mae Konopka.
