Baby Felix Chace Robinson-Geist, 3 months, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017. Born on November 9, 2016, he was the son of Christopher Geist and Sara Robinson of Fountain Hill. Felix loved cats, music and taking baths. He was full of life and always happy which brought a smile to everyone’s face which is fitting because his name means happy dreamer.
They tell us it’s amazing how we’ve stayed so strong,
but they don’t see how we cry when we hear your song,
they see the smile on our face but miss the hurt in our eye’s,
We would rather seem rude than let them see us cry,
We put on this front as we don’t want the world to see,
the pain and sorrow so deep inside of us.
We don’t act this way cause were ashamed to feel the way we do,
We act this way in honor of you,
because although we hurt right now and our hearts are broken,
We can’t help but feel pride and love when your name is spoken,
our strength comes from the love you gave to us,
and it’s that strength we want the world to see.
We will always love and miss you Felix,
that we will never hide,
and when people ask us about our son Felix,
they will always see our pride,
you were so precious and your memory will always live on,
We will never be sad that we had you only that you’re gone.
Our tears are not a sign of our weakness,
they are a sign of the love we have inside,
they will always fall down our cheeks,
when we think of you with pride,
they say it takes a real man to admit when he is sad,
but how can we be sad when we look at the son that we had,
We will always have the memories of our little boy,
and you will always be our world,
Felix always remember you gave us this strength and that,
you will always be your mommy and daddy’s little boy!
