ORTIZ, Federico Juan Jr. of Saginaw Michigan passed away on Friday, April 6, 2012 at Allegiance Hospital. He was 55 years old. Federico was born on June 29, 1956 in Eagle Pass, Texas to Federico and Velia (Falcon) Ortiz Sr.; they survive him. He married Melinda Santoya on October 16, 1996 in Saginaw; she survives him. Federico was a loving, giving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and son. He loved to barbeque and watch sports.
He is survived by his wife, Melinda; two sons and one daughter: Federico (Fiancée Angelica) Ortiz III, Santino E. Ortiz, Cassandra (Fredrick) Dukes; three step sons and two step daughters: Tommy Muller, Rolando (Estrella) Santoya, Troy Cruz, Jr., Lisandra (fiancé Daniel) Santoya, Sonia (Fiancé Eric) Cruz; two sisters and three brothers: Shelley (Ernie) Banda, Lisa (Steve) Ramirez, Rick (Anna) Ortiz, David (Elena) Ortiz, and Albert Ortiz; 10 grandchildren; many dear friends, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
