Federico Cruz, 86, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2011 at St. John’s Regional Medical Center in Oxnard, after a brief illness.
Federico was born on April 1, 1925 in Roma Texas to Sebastian De La Cruz and Angela Rangel. At the age of 36, Federico moved from Roma, Texas, West to Oxnard, where he worked as a agricultural foreman, and later as a union commercial contractor.
Federico was a free spirited soul, always willing to help out family and friends. He was a very dedicated family man and loved his family very much.
He his survived by his wife, Maria Gomez; numerous children; siblings; nieces; nephews and a host of extended relatives and friends.
