Mrs. Faye Wright Key, 79, of Auburn, Al., formerly of Valley, Al., passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014 at Oak Park Nursing Home in Auburn.
Mrs. Key is survived by her husband of 54 years, Virgil Key; children, Larry (Karina) Key of Phenix City, Al., Lisa Key (Jim) Dunson of Conyers, Ga., and Joel Key of Valley; grandchildren, Walker Dunson and Abigail Dunson; 2 nieces and 1 nephew. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ethel Strength; brother, Marshall Wright.
Mrs. Key was born on September 24, 1934 in Fairfax, Al. She was a 1952 graduate of Valley High School and she later went on to the Perry Business School. She worked for West Point Pepperell from 1953 until 1961. On Oct. 2, 1959 she married Mr. Key. She enjoyed reading. She served as secretary for the Langdale United Methodist Church for many years and worked as the bookkeeper for the family business for many years.
