Alice “Gracy” Faye Summey, 48 of Ringgold lost her 10 year battle to breast cancer and won her home with our Lord. She died peacefully in her sleep at 1 AM on Thursday morning, April 14, 2011. She was an avid gardener and book reader. She was a long time employee of Kleen-A-Matic Dry Cleaning. She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Summey; father-in-law, Charles Summey and grandparents, Drew and Mary Summey and James and Nancy Cooper. She is survived by her husband, Gary N. Summey; mother, Alice (Terry) Motley, Tunnel Hill; step mother, Fannie Holloway, Sweetwater; mother-in-law, Jean Keyes, Vonore; sisters, Teresa (Lexie Mitchell) McCullough, Chatsworth, Denise McCullough, Tunnel Hill, Kathy (Dan) Holloway, Angie Vance, Rhonda (Chris) Steffa, all of Sweetwater; brothers, James (Melanie) Jenkins, Dalton, Shawn Summey, Joe Holloway, both of Vonore; fifteen nieces and nephews; seven great nieces and nephews and special friends, Trent “Boo Boo” Summey, Joyce James and Mary Yarber.
